For this signature outdoor dining space at Rocco’s Tacos in Sarasota, Artepatio was tasked with creating a solution that balanced architectural elegance, weather protection, and complex site constraints—all without compromising the vibrant atmosphere the brand is known for.

We designed and installed a custom aluminum trellis structure, precisely engineered to follow the patio’s rounded corners and seamlessly integrate with existing trees located within the dining area. This level of customization allowed the structure to feel purpose-built rather than imposed, preserving the organic flow of the space while enhancing its functionality.

Installed above the trellis is a motorized retractable roof system that provides on-demand protection from both sun and rain. With the touch of a button, the patio transitions from open-air dining to a fully covered environment—ensuring guest comfort throughout Florida’s changing weather conditions while maintaining natural light and airflow.

The result is a refined, high-performance outdoor space that expands seating capacity, protects daily operations, and delivers a comfortable dining experience year-round—all while respecting the existing landscape and architectural character of the venue.
